Rabbitflower Doll#63 ~ Kaguya
Kaguya’s Lunar Lament
Beneath the moon’s eternal gaze,
Kaguya weeps in silver light,
Her bamboo cradle softly sways,
A princess born of starry night.
Her hair, a cascade dark and fine,
Reflects the glow of heavens high,
In robes of silk, her soul divine,
Yearns for the skies where dreams comply.
The suitors’ gifts, like shadows fade,
Their love a chain she can’t unwind,
Her heart to lunar realms is swayed,
A call from realms she left behind.
Oh, Kaguya, child of the moon,
Your exile sings a tender tune,
Through earth’s embrace, your spirit soon,
Will rise where stars and night commune.
